Well, the Apostasy Accusations Begins...

so, it finally happened.

the first time i have been called out for being an apostate.

it started out innocently enough: my family and i were watching a tv show.

What they need is a good turkey dinner with gravy, green beans w/bacon, dressing, fluffy white dinner rolls (did I mention gravy?) and pumpkin pie. I'd celebrate the Feast of Saturn for some of that action! Because on Paradise Earth, everyone's going to be eating bee pollen for eternity. Except for the Heavenly Hope crowd. They apparently warrant a better shake in the next life.

Did I say "shake"? I wonder why chocolate malts went out of favor?

Jehovah God is Real

there are many on this site that do not believe that jehovah truly exists; that he is not a real being.

but, he is as real as next breath you draw into your nostrils.. some of you say that there is no evidence that he exists.

yet, none of you can prove that he does not exits.. cofty, (you come to mind), i appreciate that you have stated, without reservation, that you do not believe that god exists.. yet, you cannot prove it.. hope in jehovah..

No one can prove anything. But if someone believes in God, railing against them isn't going to change minds on either side. Some people like believing in God. It brings them satisfaction and adds spiritual fulfillment to their lives just as evolution brings happiness and fulfillment to Cofty. In fact, if science were to prove evolution completely and inarguably FALSE...and I mean incontestably, incontrovertibly, undeniably and unquestionably FALSE, I'd actually feel sorry for Cofty. So who am I to take that from him?

The same is true TOffTC. If believing in Yahweh and his earthly theocratic kingdom rings his bell, GREAT. At least he's got the guts to come on a board like this with the equivalent of a “Kick Me!” sign on his back.

After seeing those Hillary supporters crying and sobbing, I'm kind of dreading the Second Coming. There will be a major Kleenex shortage!

please, let's discuss this subject without attacking one another.. it appears that trump has won a victory that no one expected.

is it possible that trump may play a part in the great tribulation?.

there are some who believe trump is one of the most unqualified of men to ever be elected president of the united states.

And how do you know this? What of the parts that were not fulfilled?

And what of the battle of Gog and Magog? Jerusalem under attack. Judah gathered from the nations of the earth. Most of Jerusalem sacked. As I stated earlier, it just doesn't fit.

after many years of objecting to the wt teachings on many levels, blood being one of them, i recently started to wonder (ok, i am slow!

) : what exactly does the wt think that the early non jewish christians were abstaining from in the blood abstention bit.

while i understand the context of the request that the apostle sent to the brothers, i do not understand what jws think they were abstaining from.. meat slaughtered improperly?.

Yeah, I'm repulsed by blood products as well. But trying to keep pets from eating blood is as ridiculous as expecting them to keep the feasts and the sabbaths! (Although my cat is always up for a good feast regardless of the reason.)

So, but for blood transfusions, how are JWs abstaining from eating blood?

If God had wanted to make an exception of giving or receiving blood for medical reasons, how, exactly, could He have done that in Old Testament times? But isn't this the reason there's a governing body, to act as a chain of command? Perhaps God never intended the prohibition against blood to include medical procedures but how would we know? If we draw a line and say God can no longer speak to man, then what good is a governing body or elders? Or even having a church? There have been cases where the parents of a child talk to doctors and are on the verge of allowing them to save their child, only to have some elders arrive and chat with them in a private room and change their minds. It's infuriating, but what can be done? The state can come in and overrule them, but that takes time.

The WBTS has a twisted exegesis in this issue and no other Christian church is foolish enough to buy into it, but the Sociey makes another twist and uses their strange interpretation to show others that it alone is God's organization.

The blood doctrine specifically exists because blood is the life of man, and it's widely used in evil rituals. BTW, Wiki-Leaks has exposed some of the top leaders in a certain political party as participating in some very sick blood and cannibalistic rites that are likely tied into pedophilia and possibly human sacrifice.

That actually would apply more aptly to Hillary than Trump. Both Bill and Hillary made more than twenty excursions on Jeffrey Epstein's infamous Lolita Express (many times independent of each other), which whisked Epstein's guests to his private island, termed "Orgy Island," known for offering underage children (both boys and girls, part of Epstein's private pedophile network). Although Trump allegedly made one excursion on the Express himself, the flight records don't support it and there is no evidence of it.

Hillary is known for being bi-sexual, but later in life she seems to have settled for women and young girls. But despite that warm speech by Bill during the convention, nearly everyone knows Chelsea's father wasn't Bill at all, but Rose Law Firm partner Webb Hubbell. (All one has to do is find pictures of the two on the Internet.)

Well, let's not forget Hillary. Murder, corruption, witchcraft, pathological liar and lousy human being. I'm perfectly willing to admit the foibles of people, and Trump has plenty. But if I was going to leave my kid with one of the two, it would be Trump every time.

I was horribly offended with the infamous 2005 recording, but when it comes to swearing and vulgarity, again, Hillary leaves Trump in the dust. The other night, Hillary failed to concede the election and just went home, leaving her friends and supporters hanging. She had Podesta issue a poorly worded statement refusing to concede and left the premises in a state of rage and despair. Even when she called Trump to concede, she didn't notify the media, she left it to Trump. Anyone can understand why she would feel disappointed, but her feelings of entitlement, hatred (and actually they despised each other) and self absorption kept her from thinking of those who had supported her and worked so hard to elect her.

And that was sad.

Wolfman85 » The great tribulation foretold in Mathew 24 had its fulfillment in 70AD when Rome destroyed Jerusalem. No such thing as a double fulfillment. It happened already and won't happen again. Those words from Jesus Christ were told to the first Century Jews.

I don't believe the great tribulation of Matthew 24 was fulfilled in the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans. First, the Roman invasion didn't happen suddenly. In fact, it was put on hold early on when Vespasian had to rush back to Rome, leaving his legions in the hands of his son, Titus. Many other aspects of the prophecy also weren't fulfilled:

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

The Romans were responsible for the dispersion of Judah, which the Old Testament prophets had predicted. But in the latter days, Judah would be restored to its ancestral lands and then war would again rage against Jerusalem. This is when the great tribulation of Matthew 24 would come to pass b because it would culminate in the return of Jesus and with Him being recognized as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Go to Ezekiel 38-39, which describes this war and mark the number of times it refers to the people of Judah as being gathered from the dispersed among the nations. Only in our day could this be true since never before in history had Judah been dispersed among the nations of the earth.

So the great tribulation could not have yet happened. But stay tuned.

Today, I am feeling dazed and a little numb. I know evil exists and is more common then we want to think but, I have met so many kind people since I left. What I've been personally experiencing seems so different from what has happened here. I am not debating ideas about which style of governing is best, I am just talking about humanity, kindness and respect..

I'm not sure what you're getting at, but I felt vibrant and invigorated. With Hillary on the threshold of being President, I was greatly fearful of a war with Russia (newsflash: Putin wasn't joking when he tried to warn the West and the American media and Obama/Clinton treated him like a third-rate Muslim country. Our own military establishment was warning Obama and Clinton that Putin was dead serious, but neither was taking him serious.

We also faced tens if not hundreds of thousands of Muslim refugees from war torn areas of the world with no way of vetting them. This is exactly how France and the U.K. got in the situations they are. Many refugees are fine people, but also many are not. Why is someone deemed hateful for advocating sound immigration policy? Trump also never called Mexicans rapists (that was an invention of mainstream media). He only wishes to enforce laws already on the books.

Finally, as far as I know, Trump has never had anyone killed. The Clintons have been very fortunate in having a sizable number of their enemies commit suicide, have fatal accidents, get beaten up or die in suspicious plane crashes. And having lived through Clinton I, I've seen enough lying, scandal and corruption to last me (not to mention living through George W. Bush).

Having studied a good deal about Hitler, I think you should have no problems making it a Trump administration. You might actually enjoy it.
